Welcome to my website!!!

You can call me dirstystarry or star :P I'm relatively new at everything to do with html so I tend to struggle making this website, but I'm pushing through it anyways!!!

My first exposure to html in general was about 5-6 years ago during an IT class where we were tasked to make a simple website and just mess around with the tags and all that kinda stuff. Nothing really stuck with me, though.

I later was introduced to macromedia dreamweaver and we tended to just use that to make websites from that point onwards, rather than going into notepad and hoping for the best...

For me, I wasn't too fond of dreamweaver because it was a bit difficult for me to use and there were some limitations. But after that, the next time I attempted to make a website on html was about a year ago!

I used notepad++ at that time, and I still do now.

This was when I was introduced to neocities by a youtuber I liked to watch (and still like to watch, to be clear {idk why I'm clarifying here I just want what I say to not be ambiguous ^^'}) named magoonka. Around that time, he posted a video called "HTML for dummies" and apparently that's all it took for me to throw myself into attempting to make a website???? WHat...

Yeah that was a bit crazy.. BUT ANYWAYS I'll show a photo of what my first attempt in 2025 looked like before I gave up for a good...year and a bit!

It's kinda ugly looking back on it now... and I didn't have a clear idea on what I wanted to accomplish with it either. This time it's hopefully different though!
